I
specialize in colored pencils, colored pencils with
a base of watercolor and in oils. My contemporary
style is infused with bright colors and light and
when I design I strive to create an illusion of
space and movement.
For me, the joy of creating in bright colors and
bold design is energizing. I believe that as long
as the design is balanced, any color can be mixed
next to another. Sometimes, color only will inspire
me to create a design that will work. Some of my
paintings are very detailed as opposed to some that
are very
free-spirited, depending of the mood I'm in.
In addition to contemporary art, I do animal
portraiture in colored pencils and in oils. It
gives me great pleasure to capture the essence and
expression of my clients pets. Its all on a
personal level." Lately, I have also started
painting flowers in oils, in particular the orchid,
